It was ok restaurant. I went there when most restaurants were closed for a holiday so I was glad to find one open. It was full around 8 pm and I’m not sure if it was popular or one of a few open that day. I didn’t like this cover charge € 2 which wasn’t mentioned anywhere but showed up on my bill for a basket of dry bread and crackers. Food was OK but not great. Priced similar to other restaurants. I tried a couple of pasta dishes and pizza and tiramisu. Pizza was the best among all. Most are under € 10 except for fish/meat. Overall it’s OK italian restaurant if you are in the neighborhood.

Recommended by our hotel and wonderful! Our waitress Lucy spoke great English and helped us tremendously. From the bruschetta to a wonderful bottle of house wine to spinach with garlic and Parmesan and florentine steak and fantastic spaghetti carbonara. Loved it!

Very solid Italian food. Not fancy, just good. They serve what’s in season, which is traditional way Italian restaurants that don’t serve tourists work. For appetizers we had tuna on toast. Excellent! And the portion sizes are good. Two slices for 4 euros. We also had roasted potatoes, which are just that, potatoes. We thought it would be s more interesting take, bit it is still good solid food. The lasagna was good. No tomato sauce used. Not the wet mess that I get in America. However, I’m disappointed they cut it from a larger sheet, and baked it, instead of making it fresh. But it was good, nonetheless. the orachielli pasta with clams was good, though possibly come a little to al dente for our taste. Overall, a very solid food Italian restaurant, way better than the tourist crap you get closer to the touristy areas.

This is a great literally hole in the wall restaurant. Its not filled with tourists or crowds. They have a decent house wine, and their food is amazing. Its unpretentious and simple food. I recommend their lasagna, I’m not a lasagna fan by any means, but theirs is delicious.
