This is the worst hotel that we stayed in while in Italy. Check in was ok but the bell hope Joseph was great. He is the only thing we liked about this the place. Very knowledgeable and helpful throughout our stay. The room was average but on the street side, so it was noisy with the window opened and smelled of cigarette smoke. The heat and A/C are controlled by the front desk and it will not turn off without you calling and asking the front desk. The bed was ok the first night but the second night we noticed it had bed bugs. Although we didn’t know that was what they were that night. We told the front desk and had the change the sheets and«inspect» the room. They found nothing. The next night the bugs came out again and I researched the Internet and found out they were in fact bed bugs. Call the front desk to change rooms and they didn’t believe me until the bell hold came to our room. Then they let us change rooms. During checkout we told them and they couldn’t have cared any less. I do not recommend this place and we will never stay here again. Stay away!!!

Hm. The breakfast is amazing. The bed is as hard as a rock. And the flat flat pillow was hewn from the same rock as the bed. I literally folded up a blanket and used that as my pillow!(I am paying for this nonsense people!) Also, I needed an iron because some rooms have them and some don’t– ours did not. My husband went to the front desk to request and iron and they said it was out being used. Waited a while– 20 min or so and I called the front desk again, because we had somewhere to be, I could not wait! I requested the iron again and he said he would send someone from house cleaning. Well the night before we left we were asking about our room charges and they charged me for ironing my shirt! I did not agree to a charge! They did not tell me this would cost money! I wanted to do it myself except the bums don’t have that many irons?! Also, I highly recommend you avoid the red bus«city sight seeing» tour. The hotel uses them and suggests them, but, for us it was horrible! the bus was always extremely packed. The busses never arrived in their«10 minute» time limit at the stops. Quite often a line would form of other dummies who purchased the red bus tour tickets and when the bus would only have space for 3 or 4, everyone else would have to continue to wait! Also one time we were riding the bus to the stop closest to our hotel(the busses end their night at 7pm, it was 6:30pm) and the bus stopped at their terminal and kicked us off! We had to walk all the way back. The 2nd day we gave up completely on the red busses and used the Metro instead– $ 1.50 and all locals– much better!

Want to be treated like s**t? Then THISISYOURPLACE! The receptionist told me «I went to hotel school.»(…to learn«how to say NO!) Ask for anything… NO It doesn’t really matter what, they’ll say no? Why? I don’t know? First week of Nov the city was still in the upper 60’s and high humidity(muggy & sticky), they decided it was TIME to(believe it it not) Turn off the a/c throughout the hotel. I begged & pleaded for a/c or OMG, how about just a fan? «NO!»

Excellent service! We stayed here during our honeymoon and very proximal location. Friendly bellhop and efficient! Because it was our honeymoon, they even had a bottle of Prosecco upon entry to our room. We’d definitely stay here again. Excellent coffee at breakfast
