Hassler Roma

The Hassler is an independently-​owned Grand Hotel in the tradition of the heyday of finest European lodging — you will find yourself transported through time to Bellini-​era Rome upon entering this superb hotel.
It’s location right atop the Spanish Steps could not be more convenient for exploring Rome by foot, with the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon or the Villa Borghese only minutes away. On the downside, the location also means huge tourist numbers in the area at all times and the infamous street scammers they attract.
Service is generally impeccable, as is to be expected from a hotel with a reputation and history like the Hassler. All of that comes at a price, of course.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to indulge in a true historic European grand hotel.

I came here for a drink to get out of the heat, as I was early meeting some friends. We ordered 2 cappuccinos and the manager was very kind, and we began chatting and he said «I will get something sweet for the lady», he came back with some homemade fresh cream cakes for me! They were 4 little ones, and he provided them for free, even though he knew I wasn’t staying at the hotel. I enjoyed sampling them, they were home made and delicious.
This hotel is in central Rome and close to the spanish steps. ⁵⁄₅

beautiful hotel with centric location. perhaps too cenric as it is near Spanish Steps and is very touristy when exiting and entering hotel. for price paid I believe it should be more peaceful.

This place is amazing. PRICEY! But still. Amazing.
Is been touring the Spanish steps area for what seemed like hours… My back hurt. I must’ve been amongst 100 million other tourists roaming around when my guy suddenly pulls me into the Hassler for a much needed cocktail.
I walked through the doors and felt like I was in a completely alternate universe!
Through the lavishly decorated lobby is a serene little courtyard/​bar area. The drinks were stiff, the service was splendid. We were well attended to – must’ve came in at a good time… We had the whole bar to ourselves.
When in Rome… Definitely drop by the Hassler for a «pinkies-​up» & toitty afternoon cocktail.

OLD school. You have a problem with that? Go somewhere else. This is an independently owned European Grande Dame… and it is exquisite. Beautifully renovated to give a nod to tradition while accepting modern luxury, this place wants for nothing. The bar staff in the «oh so tiny and sexy» bar is fantastic. You might even encounter the eccentric owner of the hotel there… just dont scream to get his attention. Best location in the city… if you love the city. If you don’t, seriously… just go to Sandals or something.

Difficile de trouver mieux à Rome. Non seulement cet hôtel est parfaitement bien placé mais en plus il offre un service incomparable. Seule faiblesse: il n’a pas de terrasse pour petit déjeuner en survolant des yeux la ville éternelle.
