We arrived at 1230 for lunch since the hours stated it opened at 12. Despite people being inside and the kitchen staff actively preparing food we were simply told simply and rudely restaurant is closed. no explanation. no smile with a possible reason that they just opened late today and need a few more minutes to get ready(which seemed to be the case as why get the place ready to serve if it was simply closed). perhaps the food is worth braving the rudeness… for the restaurants sake it had better be because the service is terrible. anyway we won’t get a chance to tell you since we are not likely to try again.

Last lunch in Rome. The restaurant is near the Piazza Navona, 10 min from the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. Nice quiet setting away from the crowds and friendly staff. We had the linguine with clams, spaghetti with calamari, olive oil and garlic, and the linguine with scampi.

Phenomenal! Had I found this place sooner I would have happily eaten pizza everyday I was in Rome! We tried the mushroom, mushroom truffle and potato and I’d be challenged to say which was the best one. Everything looks amazing and had I not been full I would have tried them all. 2 of us ate and had sodas for 15 euros and we both have big appetites. Excellent customer service and very cute(little) space. Definitely will be back to try more!!!

In one word… epic. What a great place. Every course paired with a different wine. Our appetizer, the anchovies with fresh mozzarella and basil, simply delicious. Main course, the pasta with prawns, perfect. If u are ever in Rome for dinner do not skip this peace of food haven. By the way, the restaurant manager was extremely attentive and courteous. Spoke very good English and was extremely helpful.
