The restaurant is definitely more targeted towards locals, but the menus do include English. It’s fairly quiet, and the service is exceptional. The quality of the food is amazing. There’s also complimentary lemoncello at the end of the meal.
I recommend trying the Canelloni and the Caprese.

Great food, and some of the best service we’ve had in Europe. We were looking for delicious homemade pastas and found them here. Don’t miss the tomato mozzarella salad! Cash only but it’s worth it. Complimentary limoncello at the end of your meal.

Small family run café, with reasonable pricing and great food. It has inside and outside sitting, but if you don’t like smoking it can be difficult to sit outside, because the sitting is small and tables are close together.

Only the quiet location makes it for me justtt shy off 5 stars (although the terrace itself is cute) but other then that: food is good, service is really great and warm, free WiFi, clean toilet (with a slightly unhandy ‘accordeon’ door) ánd a complimentary Limoncello.
If you are already in the neighborhood you won’t regret having lunch here.

How small and normal a place can look from the outside. But once inside you feel immediately a warm and welcoming vibe from the owners. Wherever you’re from you’ll be treated equally as friendly. The cheese plate we ordered was just great. Lots of different beautiful cheeses going along with exquisite bruchetta’s. The pasta was homemade and really tasty. It’s just a great family run restaurant giving real italian food to its customers. We’ll certainly go back on our next trip.

This place is off the beaten path, and well worth the visit. The service you will receive is amazing, by far the best we received in our week in Rome. You will get home cooked Italian food and feel part of the culture. The food was great and very pocket book friendly which is a plus and just the cherry on top for the great food and great service you will receive. Can’t give enough praise to this restaurant a must try in Rome! I know this is the first Unilocal review but trust me it’s a solid review! Happy traveling !
