Ducati Caffè

If you’re an American tourist looking for an appetizing Italian experience, but still have the cravings of an American… I think this is the place. But if you’re looking for a truly authentic Italian restaurant, this is not for you.
They have «americanized» style options for their lunch menu. I honestly came here looking for a burger or pizza that could meet my hopes of something hearty after being here for awhile and eating pasta almost every meal.
My friends got the angus beef burgers. I tried some of theirs. If you’re getting desperate for a burger, it’ll keep you sane. However, the burgers are not the same. The beef is soft, but not tender… kind of hard to explain. But it’s pretty typical to Italian beef. It’s not quite like home, but it’ll do.
The pizza on the other hand was pretty good.
I got a Capriccosa pizza… they loaded it up. It’s tastes are Italian standard, but they give you generous portions of toppings, so I’d give it a 3.5!

If you actually like motorcycles or racing, this is not the place. I went there the first day of MotoGP and was told they would have the race on and it was the place to be. I thought, «Ducati bar in Italy for MotoGP?! Fun!!!» We got there over an hour early, they had some pre race coverage on and told us the race would start soon. It never did… I watched on my phone, turns out they didn’t subscribe to the MotoGP channel, Sky. They didn’t know until half way thru the race…
Food was okay, waiters nice but they aren’t motorcycle people, just a warning if you like motorcycles.

We stopped here and had the Angus Burger, it was great. Server was friendly even though we showed up 30 minutes before they closed.

I Can see from the other guests having reviewed ducati that we Mighty have been unlucky but as There are many greath foodplaces in rome, i would recomend you to try someplace else
The place looks real exciting from outside. There are both branded merchandice and modern décor.
Inside its a different story.
The accustic is real bad. Hard surfaces all over the place. The noise level tonight were almost unbeable, it were relatively early for rome so it wasnt drunk people. Just real high background noise in a place were the design are a mess
The service were a mess. Long waiting time to order, the food came real fast but were only partly cooked. And then a long wait to get the bill. After getting the bill we lost it after waiting 25 min to pay and went to the bar to pay, just to be ignored by the staff.
The menu looks real good and we were kind of excited when we came. The waither. Sadly explained that we could only choose between pizzas and burgers. The to least exciting itims on the menu. Felt like being in some parts of africa were the large menus are only for show.
The pizzadough were precooked. Never ok in my book. The topping were boring and the pizza had only been in the oven for a short time. The cheese were only part melted.
Felt cheated. Went to rome and got a pizza that almost any pizza joint in Denmark could have made better.
If you decide to go to ducati, be prepared to lieve feeling slightly cheated and with a headache from the noise

So, it’s time for the first review in English! :) Do you know the famous Italian motor-​scooter brand? I’m sure you know it! Well, imagine to eat close to one of this «wonderful» motor-scooter.I mean, I don’t care because I’m not interested in motor-​scooter but if you have this kind of passion it should be satisfying. I use to go here for lunch with one of my best Roman friend that made me discover this wonderful restaurant. So, if You’re in the city centre close to Piazza Venezia or close to Via Vittorio Veneto it’s the perfect place where to eat Italian recipes. It has modern furniture (that to be honest I don’t like too much) and the staff is always kind and ready to give you suggestion about what to eat and what kind of wine to get if you love «vino Italiano». The prices are quite good for the area and then you can taste a real Italian CARBONARA (not with cream! but with real eggs, that kind of things that chickens use to make) :) So, let’s try it!

I love the place and I love it mostly at Lunch. In the center of Rome a place neither too formal nor informal. Great food with a very good wine list sold by glass. Everyday a special and menu changed sesonally. Speed service if you’re in a hurry, but you can spend hours enjoy the place and doing your business meeting at any time of the day. Happy hours at evening and live music or entertainments at nite. A full range of offering for a small but very cool place in the heart of Rome

Ducati Caffe has two locations for now, Rome and Seoul, with plans to open more in the USA and Middle East. I feel like it’s the next Planet Hollywood.
I walked in to Ducati Caffe at an awkward hour, too early for dinner and too starving for just cappucino or a drink. The happy hour buffet was just getting started. Now that seems to be the great deal here. A table full of snacks such as chicken and sliders to go along with your booze of choice.
We ordered from the dinner menu after a little confusion and then all was fine. What was served at Ducati Caffe was typical fare but also with some surprising spins. We got the rigatoni with pig jowls (excellent as the tomato sauce was not too sour or sweet and the jowls gave the dish a crunchy texture) and gnocchiette di giordano bufalo tomato, eggplant sauce, and rucola. The gnocchiette was lovely– tiny gnochhi covered in smoky pureed eggplant. I did enjoy the salad mixed in. Felt healthy.
The motorcycle suspended on the wall was the most impressive for me about Ducati Caffe. It was massive, sleek, and a thing of beauty. It reminded me of one of my dreams, that I always wanted to ride a motorcycle or Vespa through Rome. So captivating, I kept staring at the motorcycle on our way out and as we walked further and further away from Ducati Caffe.
Ducati Caffe is extremely contemporary. It’s in between a café, a bar, and a high end restaurant. It was very quiet when we went. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I hear they have live bands from time to time. Maybe that’d be interesting but i doubt I’d return.
Better to own your own Ducati than to just stare at one on the wall.

Ducati Caffè ha due sedi, per ora, Roma e Seoul, con l’intenzione di aprire più negli Stati Uniti e Medio Oriente. Mi sento come se fosse la prossima Planet Hollywood.
Ho camminato per Ducati Caffe in un’ora scomoda, troppo presto per la cena e troppo affamati per soli cappuccino o un drink. Il buffet happy hour è appena iniziato. Ora che sembra essere il grande qui. Un tavolo pieno di snack come pollo e cursori di andare avanti con la vostra scelta di alcolici.
Abbiamo ordinato dal menu della cena, dopo un po ‘di confusione e poi tutto andava bene. Ciò che è stato servito in Ducati Caffe era piatti tipici ma anche con alcuni giri sorprendente. Abbiamo ottenuto i rigatoni con guance di maiale (eccellente come la salsa di pomodoro non era troppo amaro o dolce e le guance hanno dato il piatto una consistenza croccante) e gnocchiette di Giordano bufalo pomodoro, salsa di melanzane e rucola. Il gnocchiette stato bello-​minuscolo gnochhi coperto di fumo purea di melanzane. Ho fatto godere l’insalata mista in feltro sano.
La moto sospesa sul muro è stata la più impressionante per me Ducati Caffe. E ‘stato massiccio, elegante, e una cosa di bellezza. Mi ha ricordato uno dei miei sogni, che ho sempre voluto guidare una moto o vespa per Roma. Così accattivante, ho continuato a fissare la moto sul nostro modo e come abbiamo camminato sempre più lontano dalla Ducati Caffe.
Ducati Caffe ‘estremamente contemporaneo. E ‘tra un caffè, un bar e un ristorante di fascia alta. Era molto tranquillo quando siamo andati. Ho apprezzato l’atmosfera tranquilla. Sento la musica dal vivo sono di volta in volta. Forse questo sarebbe interessante, ma dubito che sarei tornato.
Meglio di possedere la tua Ducati proprio quello di guardare solo ad una sulla parete.
