The caprese was not the best I had, I found the mozzarella a bit hard. However, our main dishes(carbonara and amatriciana) were delicious. Staff was very efficient and friendly.

Came here randomly on a Friday night around 9:30 and snagged the last table. Seemed like a mix of tourists and locals. The Cacio e Pepe with homemade noodles was quite tasty. Wasn’t a huge fan of he crispy artichoke, however. Good service even without my waiter speaking English or me speaking Italian. Grab a table outside if you can. It’s a great location for people watching on a Friday night!

I came here as a second choice/default when out with a Roman friend of mine. He wanted to take me somewhere else he was raving about, but we didn’t have reservations and there were like 15 people outside waiting, so we went somewhere else and ended up here. I ordered the zuchinni flower fritti, which is my default. I LOVED that their had anchovies inside them, but these were by far the oiliest I’ve ever had in my life. They were dripping in oil, the batter was soaked and heavy with oil… it was a little over the top. I usually ordered seafood pasta, but this time I decided I better eat a carbonara at least once while in Rome. It’s a classic Roman dish. Let me tell you, the week before my uncle made a carbonara, and to his utter mortification, he cooked the egg by accident(easy to do, trust me… fyi, the egg is NOT supposed to cook). However, my uncle’s carbonara, in spite of the cooked egg, was SHAMELESSLYLICKYOURPLATEDELICIOUS. On this one, the sauce was a perfect consistency, but utterly bland and blah. So yeah, I didn’t love this spot. Sorry.

We had a good simple meal here. The pizze were crisp fresh and tasty. The prosciutto particularly good. Desserts were also good with especially a lemon custard tart served warm which impressed. Only slow service and a lacklustre cappuccino let this down. Good buzz in the restaurant too. I can’t reconcile our experience with the other reviews except to suggest that I ditto my expectation to the price and this was seemingly very reasonable at 28 euro for the two of us including drinks.
