I found this place online in a frantic search days before landing in Rome. I’d just left an amazing villa in Sardinia but needed something a little more independent in the city. The location is good. Not touristy, or overpriced. It feels safe and you can pretend to be a local or expat or something if you want. You can take the train plus one short bus ride from the airport. The metro to get to tourist sites isn’t too far away either. It’s not walking distance but the buses run quickly. Expect to gain a little weight. There’s an amazing bakery right downstairs and a gelato place across the street. There are lots of great pizzarias around too. If you decide to cook. There are two grocery stores nearby. Personally, I preferred the EuroSpin, the produce was better. Everything was quick and easy. Clean and modern looking. I’d stay there again. Room #4 was cool.
