My wife’s feet were getting swollen after walking over 10 miles that day — having been to Forum, Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Trastevere district.
We were heading toward the Pantheon and stumbled upon this humble Mom and Pop shoe store.
The elderly gentleman was very helpful (probably the owner of the store) and she was able to buy a very nice pair of Italian leather shoes for $ 109 euros (including tax).
At Nordstroms in United States, the same Italian shoes cost over $ 250 US, almost 2 times the price.
Highly recommended if you get sore feet and need a pair of shoes NOW… you won’t be disappointed by this quaint establishment.
