Great place! Very nice people! Super cocktails! A must see in Rome! Reggae music on the background :)

I live nearby and decided to try this place out. My partner and I walked in for a quick caffe, but the man at the bar denied. Confused, we asked why. His answer: «I don’t have time.» Rude and lazy. What an upsetting experience.

We stumbled upon this place as the outdoor spaces across the way were full, and so my boyfriend was on the hunt for alternates… and so glad that he did! They were beyond accommodating, seating both us and a couple other tables despite not being officially«open» at that hour yet(maybe 15 minutes early). I ordered a bloody mary which was served in a very cute and chic(and unusual!) martini glass — and while it wasn’t strong, it was the best I’d had in ages! Boyfriend who loves white russians(in italy only), adored his drink as well. My only disappointment was that we didn’t find the place sooner as our trip ended the next morning. Also my favorite neighborhood in rome, particularly due to cute spots like this one! There was a dog inside too, which is always a plus in my book.

If you are staying at Casa di Sara, this is where you will go for the free Breakfast. It’s just to the left of Casa di Sara’s entry door. This place is great. In ready the reviews it looks like the some of the Italians find it pricey, and it is for Italian prices. Three thoughts, 1) it’s Rome, everything is expensive, 2) Relative to NYC, Dallas, SanFran, etc. it’s not expensive — even with the exchange rate(.70:1 at the time), 3) great pastries, really good coffee and fun service! Just a note, when we were there you could have eggs or a pastry. The scrambled eggs were pretty runny. My wife liked them, but I would not have eaten them. You can get them any way you like, but if you don’t like scrambled eggs you might want to go with the pastries… which are fantastic if you didn’t catch that above! I forget the woman’s name, but she was Roman, spoke pretty good English with a thick accent and talk/sang to herself while making jokes with the patrons. The décor is tasteful chintzy, like Brooklyn Heights maybe. And, the hallmark of any good eating establishment — the women in the group said the bathroom was nice and clean! Highly recommend…

The breakfast was excellent! However my compliant lies with the staff. There was a set menu for eggs(omelet), orange juice and coffee listed for 10 Euro, we ordered 3, one being for a child who did not want coffee, but the juice was never offered to me and my partner, we did ask for 2 additional cups of coffee and somehow the bill came to 35 and the receipt was also not offered! Each cup of coffee if ala carte was only 2 Euro still trying to figure out his math. There were other people in the restaurant which spoke Italian and a Spanish couple, whom he had no difficulty conversing with and offering all the items on the menu. I feel as if he took advantage of the fact that we spoke English to either pad his tip with additional expense on the bill or just overall neglect us. It is a shame as it was a very good breakfast and the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Sadly I will not return nor tell anyone else to frequent the restaurant if they don’t want to feel taken advantage of.

Terrific restaurant — very fresh food and so much better than the touristy restaurants nearby in Piazza Navona– lovely atmosphere too.
