Small intimate place off Campo de Fiori. We did not have a reservation but were fortunate to land a table at this amazing restaurant. The host greeted us at our table with a glass of Proseco and then went thru the menu as well as dinner specials. They do not have a wine list, but our host was more than happy to take me to their 600+ bottle cave to pick out whatever we wanted. He also gave a great recommendation on a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo that was very reasonably priced. We started with a plate of freshly carved Prosciutto layered over a Tomino cheese that melted from the warmth of the ham. Delicious! We then ordered a stuffed chicken breast with artichoke, ham, & cheese; a braised veal shank smothered in a pea & tomato sauce a side of roasted potatoes; and a fettuccine with procini mushrooms. All were outstanding!!! We finished the meal with Panna Cotta with fresh strawberries and Tiramisu. Last but not least, they make their own Limoncello, and were happy to pour seconds. All in all a perfect dinner in Rome. I urge you to not walk but run to this fabulous Roman dining experience.

Most amazing place in Rome, so quiet and different from the noisy touristy places you get. This is probably our typical local restaurant and is definitely worth the visit! Don’t be afraid by the fact that it is in a small alley with no one trying to force you in like in other places, you will NOT regret it!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Rome. It is a very small place, but very nice atmosphere. Remember to book a table. The host is super friendly and very informative about all the dishes on the menu. The same goes for the personal who is very kind and service minded. The food is very simple but delicious. Made of the best ingredients. I was surprised how delicious Ham and cheese can taste, just because it’s homemade and great ingredients. Loved it! They have around 600 bottles of wine and are very friendly to guide you to the right bottle of wine. Prices are very decent! Go there!

We stumbled on this place within the first couple of days we were in Rome but then went back last night again. The food and service is fantastic! Most people end up spending about the same wherever they eat, so why not eat somewhere that you know is going to be great?

WONDERFUL!!! The service was great, which has been hard to find in Roma! The food was the best we’ve had here so far!!! We had the buffalo mozz and cherry tomatoes, spinach ravioli, lasagna with bolognese. Yum!
