Located steps from our rented apartment in Roma, this place was fine, if unremarkable. My daughter’s antipasti plate was quite good, but my pasta carbonara was just so-so. The pasta was perfect, the eggs and cheese were delicious, but the bacon was largely chunks of un-rendered fat. Prices were very reasonable, I liked my house red wine, and the service was perfect. Sitting outside on a perfect evening in Rome with my daughter, I had a nice time at Camedda and would not hesitate to go back.

Very small hole in the wall but what a find! Good food and good wine. Very hospitable. Owner doesn’t speak English but the young server speaks English well. We sampled the red wine that comes with bruschetta combo. It was bad. But instead we decided to order a bottle for € 20 and a cheese, meat, veg platter. Comes with a basket of bread. Delicious! The lady gave us a sample of buffalo mozzarella so we can compare, except the sample was 4 big pieces! Ordered Sardinian pasta with potatoes and cheese. Very fresh. We were about to leave and she offered apéritif for both of us, supposed to aid our digestion!

I’ve been eating here quite a few times. The place is pretty small, but in the warm season they add a few tables outside. While enjoying a good glass of wine, don’t miss the ‘burrata’ from Puglia and the buffalo mozzarella, with daily arrivals from their production areas they are always fresh and delicious.
