Excellent value! Great place to stop for a cheap but satisfying lunch. They have more than just pastries. Several sandwich options, at least one veggie pastry dish, & even a selection of steamed/grilled veggies like spinach/eggplant/zucchini. Excellent place if you’re just looking for breakfast/lunch & don’t want to pay for an experience. Very friendly staff. Bathroom leaves much to be desired(dark & no seat on the toilet). Plenty of drinks in the fridge case that are much cheaper than the wallet raping fridge in your hotel room.

We had an excellent light breakfast of chocolate chip muffins, and omelet sandwiches and caffe latte on our first day in Rome.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! We discovered it the first time that we went to Rome, and stayed nearby at the Sofitel. It’s in a really great location if you’re staying in that area, because chances are, you’ll have to pass by it. Maybe we’re partial to it because we discovered it on our honeymoon, so it’ll always be a «special place» for us, but honestly, it’s just coffee, pastries, and paninis. Everything that we got there was really good — above average from an American coffee/pastry standpoint. They were always very polite and fairly prompt with our orders. The few times that we actually sat down, the table service was as expected. We found it at or below price point to other comparable places, but honestly, we loved the vibe there too. It’s small and has cute decorations, and we saw the same people working there every day who recognized us towards the end of our trip. They also have a public restroom in decent condition(just one), which is always useful! We went back several times on our last trip to Rome, and were really pleased to see that not much had changed — it was our same special spot with great coffee, pastries, and paninis. Stop by if you’re in the area!

Very local, very friendly. This is a small café with very little decorations. Plain walls, plain seating, really just a rest stop to be on your way. I wasn’t blown away by the coffee or the desserts(felt like they bought those frozen and unsealed them from a box), but the owners are so nice, that it’s nice to sit there for a while. Not a must-see kind of space, but if you’re in the neighbourhood and need to rest for a second, like we did, there are worse places to be.

This was a great place! We were staying up the street and found this on our arrival. We stopped in once or twice a day and enjoyed their great coffee. Would see the same customers every day. Very local, friendly. Every so often the staff would get a phone call, make a tray of coffees and pastries, and walk with it down the block to serve it to a local business and return with the dishes.
