A group of us went to Rome this summer and we stayed in this bed and breakfast. After searching online for the best B&B, we liked this one for couple of reasons: 1. LOCATION — Yes, you are just few blocks away from the train station if you know which entrance/exit to get from. Our first day, we were lost given that it was our first day, but then we figured out which entrance to us and saved lots of time. You can also take a bus to certain locations if you know where you are going. You can ask few of the restaurant owners around there where you are going and they will tell you if its best to take bus or just use the train. It’s very close to the Colosseum though it’s fairly a long walk if you are not a New Yorker or live anywhere that requires lots of walking. but if you walk, you will get to see so much of the city of Rome — its beautiful 2. The owner is a young italian woman that practically speaks italian, English, Spanish(what else can you ask for right?) Though i didn’t get a chance to meet her, my friend did and said she was very helpful and the check-in was painless. Her parents do the house cleaning part so you will see them frequently around there. We asked them if we can leave our bags in our room on our last day since we had about 8 hours to enjoy the last part of our trip and they were totally cool with it. We left our bags outside our room, which there’s actually another room to lock so they were safe. 3. The room — it’s very clean and updated compared to the B&B’s that we searched online. Three of us shared a room. We had 1 large queen size bed and 1 other pull out twin bed(probably IKEA) because it barely held my friend’s weight(felt so bad for him). 4. The Bathroom — Small but it was nice. Shower could just be slightly bigger if there was enough space but we are in Italy. I don’t think you can fit someone over 250 pounds in there. I loved that they had a bidet but i didn’t use it! 5. Internet, flat screen TV, and good AC — PLUS! Btw, make sure to bring compatible plugs for Italy to charge your computer/cameras. 6. Breakfast — it’s included in our hotel stay. but this is when I wished it was inside the building… you have to walk down the block to the pastry shop to get your breakfast. At least it’s a nice sit-down place and enjoy the beautiful morning that you will see there. 7. Price — It’s pretty good especially since 3 of us shared the room. One of the other girls got her own room which was very nice room with a twin size bed and bigger bathroom. Again, pricing was fair.
