Had lunch special. $ 9 for lasagna, coffee, and a water bottle. Lasagna wasn’t that good, but i lied because the waiter was super nice. May come back just for their coffee.

After visiting the Vatican and Sistine Chapel my husband and I decided to walk around the neighborhoods and came across Caffe Castello. We decided to have dinner here because they had a cheap dinner special on their menu board. I ordered the dinner special which included a Margherita pizza, a beverage of my choice(I chose the house red wine), and a coffee after my meal. For $ 9 Euros the meal was cheap and the pizza was very tasty. My husband ordered the Proscuitto and Melon and I have to say the proscuitto was not of the best quality. The restaurant is pretty small with outdoor seating so we enjoyed people watching while we had our meal. Even though our waitress was the only waitress in the restaurant she was very fast and very friendly. This wasn’t the best meal we had in Italy, but the free wi-fi internet, friendly service and cheap prices would make me return.
