Everything from the apertivo to the wine and the grappa that was hand selected for us was delicious. We had a traditional Italian meal including antipasti, pasta, main course and dessert. A waiter from anoter restaurant recommended this place so it wasn’t in the touristy area which I loved. We were surrounded by locals that looked at us as if to ask ‘how did they hear about this place?’. Everyone was still very nice. Although we got a chance to meet the one of the owners who is also the chef, this review mains unbiased. Everything was exquisite including the service.

Excellent place. Waiters very very available. I got there without reservation. My grandfather loved. He is saying that was the best. :-) For 2 about € 50 — entrance+dinner+half bottle of wine. No dessert.

We visited Rome and looked to Unilocal for some suggestions.(There are SO many restaurants here). Buono popped up with 4 stars, but they were all reviews from Italians. SOLD. I ordered my wife and I six or seven small plates and each of the dishes were consistently prepared with obvious care. Wine was good as most have been here. The place had a great mood with contemporary feel, but I felt like the food was first priority. That’s what I look for. Thursday night and the place was full. Not that we couldn’t get a table but you might call ahead on the weekend. We ate outside with lots of locals. Cool spot next to a small park. Be assured the football(soccer) match will be on and the place will be lively. Not rowdy but everyone is enjoying themselves. Not like a quiet romantic spot if you will. By the way, service is not included so be sure to tip your server. Service when added to the bill at many restaurants here is 10%. Hope this helps and enjoy! BDUB

Ein«Must Eat Here» in Rom. Wärend jeden Rom-Besuch gehört das kulinarische Geniessen im Buono. Top Service und der Blick in die Küche ist sehr interessant.
