The French-style croissants are not extremely light, but they are delicious, with incredible flaky stratfication and a crispy crust that explodes when you bite into it. The baker(I forget his name) explained to me that he studied patisserie in France, and you can tell. They are vegan, which means no butter, but he enthusiastically explained his process for making home made soy butter using mechanical processes(no hydrogenation!) that avoids trans fats. The bottom line is that you have an artist who loves his craft, and I am excited to try everything else he makes.

Great little find amongst a very touristy area. The interior is small, only three tables with seating are inside(maybe they put outdoor seating when it’s warmer out?). The place is decorated very well — it was the reason I was drawn in the first place. They have freshly baked bread and pizza bread, from which they can make panini sandwiches. We got veggie and rice stir-fry and the pizza bread to eat — soo delicious! A much healthier option than we could have hoped for :) I certainly recommend this place. The service is very nice, all the baked good look fantastic. Oh, biscuit cookies with coffee are also a great choice here ;)
