Vegan options galore(almost everything)! Interesting Indian food in the heart of Rome. Here’s advice: Portions are HUUUUUGE. You might think the prices are expensive, but they aren’t! One meal will serve two people… EASILY(and deliciously). You will over«Dosa» for sure! ;) The service is pretty slow, but the staff is super friendly. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy your food that comes out one at a time. Check out the ruins around the corner when you come out. Just stand there for a while to digest all that food.(Don’t feed the goddam cats you tourist!)

Delicious! Service was great, ambiance casually romantic with its beautiful chandeliers, artwork, etc. HIGHLY recommend eating here as this was some of the most delicious Indian food I have had. Not to mention everything is 100% Organic!

A little disappointed with this place, given the other excellent reviews. I ate here on my second night in Rome, and was excited to try it. It’s a very secluded location, which is fine, though it was a little hard to find(we weren’t sure if we were in the right place or if it was open, since it is attached to a small library). The food itself was just average. I had the rice with greens and potatoes, while my wife had the dhal croquettes and rice. It wasn’t really that filling or that flavorful, and we had better vegetarian meals in the city and country.

Absolutely delightful On my first time going out alone in Rome I was looking or a place to eat vegetarian so as a good iphone user I asked Siri ad she suggested this place. After getting a bit lost… I think I was walking from Largo Argetina, I found it! But it was closed :( Eventually I forgot about it. Last week I went out with my housemate and boyfriend shopping(they bought more things than I did) and one f then directed us here. I was so happy! It was quite late and the lunch service had finished, we could see the staff cleaning up. We asked if there was a possibility for us to eat and the front of the house smiled warmly and led us in. He prepared a table for us and bough us the menu meanwhile exchanging words with my Italian friends. We took the me menu Food was fantastic, it really tasted loving, like somebody really took care and consideration to, not only make it healthy, but also taste good, look impeccable and deliver it with kindness. This place gets 5 stars for food and 5 stars for service Will come back

Excellent vegetarian food. Half my family is not vegetarian but everyone loved it. Great staff. Also with 3 kids, they allowed us to order 3 meals and split them. I was concerned, because 2 of my kids don’t eat much. Also you MUST order their ginger lemon tea.

So delighted we decided to visit this incredible eatery — the welcome, the aroma, the incredible library and art work set the scene for an amazing lunch. This truly is amongst the best vegetarian meals I’ve had! Leave room for the wonderful deserts — the apple crumble will convince you that vegan food can be exquisite! Thank you everyone at Bibliothe!

We arrived for lunch at about 1pm and were seated by a very curt waitress. After waiting for about 10min she came back to take our order(there’s almost no one in the restaurant). Being a vegetarian at a vegetarian restaurant I ordered something with vegetables. She told me to hold on and walked away even before asking what my husband would like. She came back another couple minutes later and said they don’t have vegetables. After some questions from us, we found out that even though they’ve been open it would still be at least another 20min for the vegetables to be ready. She told us we could have soup and salad only. Why would you open your restaurant when the main ingredient in most of your menu items isn’t even ready? Between a rude waitress and apparently terrible management we decided to not waste our time here.

I really enjoyed my dining experience here. An adorable dining are and an extensive library, I wish I had more time to stay! I had the tasting menu served on a Royal Indian Thali. Each course was better than the last. Classic Ayurveda philosophy of using all the flavors in each course. It was very filling, and too much for one person so I ended up taking some back to the hotel to enjoy later. There was only one waiter and the place was packed so it took a while for my food to come out. But he was very apologetic about the wait and I honestly didn’t mind. In Ayurveda medicine it is best to eat slowly and enjoy each bite. I recommend this place if you’re looking for more than just a quick bite, and enjoy the experience.
