A completely over priced tourist trap, *BUT* it actually has pretty good food… I got the pasta with zucchini and zucchini flowers, oil, and pecorino cheese. It was pretty great… As much as it pains me to say it about one of these places… the pasta was perfect, even though I have a hard time believing the waiter that all their pasta is «homemade each day by my mother.» I also had their Pinot Grigio which was mediocre, especially for 7 € a glass… I’ve had pretty great wine here for 15 € a bottle… However their special«gelato truffle» dessert thing easily made up for the wine. As did their Sorbeti digestifs(which they even made special virgin ones for my girlfriend who is allergic to alcohol). When you’re a tourist they write in 10% gratuity at the bottom of your bill and ask«is OK?» essentially asking you for a tip. If you’re not up on Italian tipping etiquette, gratuity is included in the price and no expected. A few euro is considered a good tip and at 10% my tip worked out to almost 10 € so it was a very generous tip they were asking for. I was very happy with the service and had already rounded the bill to the same figure in my head, but the boldness did annoy me a little. Moral of the story, don’t feel bullied or let people trick you just because you’re a tourist. If someone tries to add in gratuity you have the right to tell them where to shove it. Here, the guys are pretty cool and I actually do feel you should throw them a little something, even if I didn’t appreciate the pan handling at the end.

Bom lugar para quem está nas proximidades da Piazza Navona. Spaguetti Carbonara e uma ótima pedida. E um tartufo original de sobremesa com expresso é uma ótima opção para finalizar. Recomendo

The food and service here are top notch. The Pasta was done to perfection and the servers were informed, attentive and friendly. Also being in a famous square without vehicular traffic enhances the experience. If you are ever in Rome do not miss this wonderful restaurant.

I only got drinks at Caffe Bernini but apparently this is one of the more honest restaurants in an area filled with tourist traps as told by my tourist guide. They had menus with prices displayed. That’s always a good sign. The waiters spoke English and if you were brought here by an affiliated tourist company, then you can get a 10% discount on your bill. The restaurant sits within Piazza Navona which is awesome!

Had a great experience tonight. Went here with 6 other friends and had a great meal. We’re students in Rome on a budget. The food was delicious and pretty affordable for what you get. The service was great. The staff was extremely friendly and all spoke fluent English. The food was prepared in time. I ordered a carbonara pasta. The sauce was amazing and there was pieces of bacon that were full of flavor. Best part is you get a fantastic view of Piazza Navona.

Took 40 minutes to get our appetizer, and that was after asking the waitress to look in the kitchen. Got our drink order wrong. Portions are small. Forgot one of our dishes and even after telling us they’d bring it out, forgot. Food is not fresh(the broccoli in my pasta was definitely frozen and the sauces were thick and superficial tasting). Meanwhile the man at the front promised us fresh food. I find better Italian food in the corner pizza shop back home. I advise to try another place in the area and not to be tempted by free wifi.

We had a lovely dinner here. Nice time walking the Piazza. Watch out for the street vendors if you sit on the path but the food was good and our waiter was nice and spoke English. Plus we got caught up on the wifi.
