Went here for a free breakfast that came with the B&B I stayed at for one night in Rome. After finishing the croissant and cappuccino, my friend and I decided to get another croissant to split and I got another cappuccino. The voucher was worth € 2,20 and we got the croissant and drink for free with it. When the bill came for my second order it was € 7,50! The cappuccino was € 5 and the croissant was € 2,50. I felt a little deceived and was less than impressed with what I had gotten in exchange. Service was average, baked goods were subpar, prices were ridiculous and not listed on the menu. Wouldn’t recommend.

This place sucks. The food is alright(mediocre frappé for 6.5 euros?) and the service is terrible. I came in to grab a carbonara pasta to go and wanted the wifi to search how to get to the airport. The door says«free wifi» so I asked if I could have the password and the server replied«wifi is only for sit in customers». Really? I’m still paying except I’m taking it to go and I can’t use the wifi for a few minutes? Terrible attitude + mediocre food = not worth my time nor money. Avoid this place. I only came in as I was in a rush to grab some food.

Having already eaten at another place, we were walking this place and saw great sandwiches inside the door. THEN we saw the sacher cake, which we were trying to have since Vienna. Marvelous dense chocolate cake layers spaced with some kind of sweetness, we were in heaven. Paired with kaffe, it’s the cat’s ass!

We really enjoyed this restaurant! Pizza was tasty and they allowed us to customize it which we appreciated. We had a spicy(arrabiata) pasta that was delish. Our waiter was prompt, brought us tap water without reservation and didn’t charge us for it. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and people watching as well.

Everything I had here was wonderful! This includes: caffe latte freddo, chocolate stuffed cannoli, ravioli, carbonara, cacio e pepe. The cannoli was 1 euro each, and the dishes were 6 – 9 euros. Again, the only thing that sucks about every place in Rome is that they’ll tell you, «we don’t offer tap water.»

I actually found this place by my nose… the night before at Fiddler’s Elbow(Irish pub close by), we experienced the best vanilla/cake like smell from this location. The next day on our way home from sight seeing, found it again and tried it. Good gelato, very creamy. Pastries and cakes looked good, but I am gluten intolerant.
