This place was delish! Definitely the best food we had in Rome.(We’re picky eaters). Our hotel recommended it to us and I’m glad they did. We ordered wine, soup, salad, the rib-eye steak and tuna steak. All were amazing!!! The chef even through in a little dish of polenta on the house which was really nice. Great service and great food. Our total was $ 100.

Was there for dinner, good service, no reservation and we sat at a small table because of it. Food quality Was good, but, all together just okay. I had the fettuccine ragout and found the pasta to be under cooked. I know al dente pasta and this Was not it. The food overall Was good but i would explore other restaurants instead of returning here. I thought the price Was reasonsble, lovely courtyard dining.

Best meal we had in Rome. We rented a place near the Spanish steps and this place was suggested by the people we rented from. Enjoyed the fresh homemade pasta and the chicken dish was awesome. Kids loved the ravioli. Service was phenomenal. Have not had service like this since we lived in NY. Highly recommend.

This was the best food we had in Rome. I did a Google and Unilocal search for the best restaurants in Rome and this came up as the place to be. We booked a reservation for Easter Sunday and had no problems getting in. I definitely recommend a reservation though because every table had a reserved sign on it. The service was great and we made sure to get the full experience with a bottle of wine, appetizer, pasta, meat, and dessert. Here are the highlights: The salmon appetizer was great. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the appetizer was light and fresh. The gnocchi was in a roasted red pepper sauce with ricotta cheese and perfectly balanced. The pesto pasta was a home run — not super garlicky and not over the top on the pistachios. The highlight of the main courses was the beef filet. It was divine. The caramelized onions with the chive sour cream and the meat was an unbeatable combination. As for dessert, the pistachio tart was incredible and the chocolate lava cake was creamy and fluffy. We were so stuffed when we left, but it was worth it. Everything about this place was amazing. It is in the heart of the city, just off of the Piazza de Poppolo and has a nice intimate atmosphere. You will not be sorry! The prices are higher than most restaurants in Rome. However, you get what you pay for — it is worth it to splurge a little!

Great atmosphere, even better food and the service was impeccable. Not often do I hand out five stars but this place is amazing. Charming, cozy, delicious food, and staff that is helpful and authentic. This is not going to be your cheapest meal in Rome but it will likely be your best!

Our first meal in Rome, very close to the Spanish steps and metro stations. Our reservation was honored immediately with a beautiful spot on the spacious patio. Service was speedy and the staff were able to make sense of our limited Italian. We were given bread and complimentary soup and ordered the meatball and pan seared chicken dishes, which came with salad and cheese gnocchi and spinach and spaghetti marinara. The food was fresh and well-presented, but not necessarily unique from Italian that we have eaten in America, nor did the food have any special or authentic flavors. Everything needed a bit more salt but no salt or pepper is placed on the tables in Europe(would feel awful asking). Perhaps the menu in English should have tipped us off but it was tasty nonetheless!

We came here for lunch on a Sunday. It’s very pretty inside and they have seating in their garden too. Because we hadn’t made reservations we couldn’t get a table outside. It’s a very charming little restaurant. They have an amazing selection of vegetables, salads and pastas for vegetarians. Absolutely yummy!

A very nice experience Odd décor(French bistro meets faux industrial) however the service was quite attentive(which is not always case in places we’ve been in Rome) and food was excellent and good size portions: Appetizer was fried anchovies Fennel salad with black olives Beef filet very nicely prepared My wife had ravioli with«cottage cheese»(which is ricotta) with dried tomatoes: very good but a rich sauce Desserts looked awesome but did not have room to try them(did have complimentary cookies with glass of grappa) Bill was € 76 including bread basket and bottled water

Wow. This place is fabulous. The babette cake is to die for. Seriously. The sisters who run this restaurant are so nice and passionate about food. Everything was good, fish, pasta, fried sardines, ravioli, etc… Our dinner was so good, that we returned the next day for lunch on our last day in Rome! P. S. Ask to sit on the patio

My family and were in the area and, not having reservations, decided to try and beat the crowd by arriving early. Arrived at 7:05pm(restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner) and it was empty(only one table was occupied). Nevertheless we were turned away since«they were completely full». We found that answer cocky and insincere since it was almost completely empty, I don’t know how they could not make room for a couple and their teenage daughter. The place has great reviews but if you want to go make sure to call in advance, or risk be turned away rather arbitrarily as we were. The good thing is that right in front of it there was a vegetarian restaurant that was quite good.

One of the best Rome restaurants we went to. Buffalo mozzarella/tomatoes. Pasta ravioli. Dessert and café. We went back there for their chocolate dessert. Amazing!

Picked this off of the reviews on Unilocal. It was really great. Cute place, great service and the food was really very good. We had some very average food in Rome, but this was far better than that. Fresh, flavorful, interesting. Very good. I would go back if I were to visit Rome again. Try the homemade pasta for a starter. The fresh fish and the chicken were both excellent.
