It’s actually at Piazza del Popolo along the Corso. This was the first leather place we ran into and it looked like an exclusive, authentic leather shop. I bought a lovely purse on SALE. We walked down to Spagna and along the way found the SAME purse in a regular olé souvenir type shop for 15 euros less!!! So forget this place for your authentic Italian leather and just buy it at a mall setting or souvenir shop setting.

Virtually every leather garment imaginable is sold in this richly stocked store. Established in the 1960s, with a somewhat more funky and counterculture slant than Casagrande or Campanile, Alfieri sells a wide range of jackets, bags, belts, shirts and pants for men and women; shorts reminiscent of German lederhosen; and skirts in at least 10 different colors. Everything sold is made in Italy; This place prides itself on reasonable prices and ultra-high quality. Ask for Flavio, great guy…
