Dinner experience: full house and much understaffed for the number of guests. Nice rustic décor with posters of italian film stars. Avoid the back room as you will end up sitting in a cramped place and at a long table with strangers with no privacy at all! Food is OK once it arrives, although two pasta dishes had to be sent back for rewarming. Pizza is excellent! House wine mediocre. Used to be one of my favourite places in Rome but as guest numbers increase, quality declines!

Nous avons testé ce restaurant situé à côté du fameux «Mercato di Campo dè Fiori». C’est un restaurant italien typique à l’aspect un peu rustique, qui sert des pizzas, des pâtes et d’autres spécialités italiennes.
Nous avons commandé de la charcuterie et de la mozarella en entrée. Rien à signaler, c’était très bon, et c’est d’ailleurs toujours un plaisir de manger de la mozarella italienne quand on connaît le goût (ou plutôt le non-​goût) qu’elle a en France ! Mon amie a pris des pâtes carbonara, qui elles aussi n’ont pas grand chose à voir avec notre équivalent français ! En effet, pas de crème fraîche, et pourtant les italiens arrivent à conserver l’aspect onctueux du plats. J’avais pour ma part pris une salade, un plat léger après la journée passée à manger un peu partout dans Rome :)
J’ai pris un Tiramisu au dessert, afin de tester la version italienne de ce dessert. Bön beh pas de mauvaise surprise, c’était vraiment bon, et ça ressemblait à ce à quoi je m’attendais !
Et comme d’habitude, la note n’est absolument pas salée, ce qui peut être surprenant compte tenu de la localisation de ce restaurant. C’était en fait plutôt bon marché :)

We were keen to try this place based on other reviews here and we weren’t disappointed! (We also were lucky enough our apartment was above it).
The food was generous, flavour some and very moreish! The pizzas have such a delicious thin base, our fav pizza in all of Rome! The pasta Gricia was delish and the service was very good. The prices were one or two dollars cheaper than other restaurants too!
It is a popular place though so best to book. Yes suitable for kids, we took our two young daughters and it was great.
Definitely would eat here anytime we are in Rome!

Perfect place if you wanna enjoy delicious meals for reasonable money. Therefore five stars goes to ratio quality/​price.
It´s placed in a centrum close to Campo de Fiori. It´s simply decorated with a small garden. I appreciate a service the most and it´s excellent here. Our waitress was very nice, maybe a little bit forgetful but very very kind, willing and helpful.
Their pizza is delicious as are the other meals. And the prices are very reasonable so you can get a great meal for «cheap» (remember, we are in a centrum of Rome). Pizza and salads are made by cook right in front of guests. They have a very good wine list too.
So if you are around Campo de Fiori and you are hungry, this is the place.

Very close to all the tourist restaurants but this one feels different. Although you can get an English menu the restaurant claims to buy all their ingredients at the market earlier in the day. Not frozen here.
Ever since the first time I was in Rome 6 years ago I’ve been searching for the most delicious pizza again. Found it. Went twice, not a fluke. Great if you love very thin crust pizza.

Et si la cuisine romaine né vous séduit pas vous pourrez toujours vous rabattre sur un vaste choix de pizza.
