The service and food was excellent! We ordered their bun trio which were a perfect marriage of little soft buns with quality prosciutto and cheese inside. I ordered a pasta dish and my husband ordered their beef. I loved my pasta but that beef was a melt in your mouth flavorful meat. As a caution though, we ordered medium and in California it would be considered rare. For me, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We also ordered tiramisu for dessert and it is unlike your typical American tiramisu. It was much softer, like fluffy melted ice cream, which turned out to be worth the extra space in my tummy.

The atmosphere is nice and it is very busy inside. We went around 8PM and there were still people coming by and seeking seats. They seem to recommend a reservation but won’t necessarily turn away walk ins. We asked for bread which is about a euro per person and you need to request for olive oil, salt, and pepper(if you need dipping). I got the carbonara and my fiancé got the house-made fettuccine. The carbonara was very al dente and tastes more like A heavy Mac and cheese. Desserts are absolutely fantastic. Would go back simply for the desserts. I had the chocolate tiramisu with wild strawberries.

3.5 stars. Solid osteria not too far from the vaticans. We had the 3quarti special buns with grilled vegetables, with bread that are sprouted for 12 hours before baking. Pretty Interesting one to try but can skip if you don’t eat bread in general(which is my case). I had the Roman special pasta maccheroncini with bacon, cheese, and caper, tomato. It was a bit too heavy for a hot day and the fatty chewy bacon could be a bit harder to get used to for an American tourist. I would not recommend the beef carpaccio. A bit too meaty and thick in texture and appearance. In this category, I like the French version of beef carpaccio. If you do get it, I would recommend a bit of olive oil(and maybe even a bit of balsamic vinaigrette to go with this). I loved the ambience, especially when it is 100 degrees Fahrenheit. A bit modern in look/feel with high ceilings. The wine by the glass options was great — the waiter just picked a glass of white from the fruili region to go with my dish and it was fabulous.

Came here twice while spending the week in Rome. Great food, good wine, friendly service. One meal was their new years eve celebration. I don’t know if I’ve ever eaten so much. Seriously if you plan on this for new years eve do not eat lunch. All in all great place, great food, good people.
