I was a member of a tour group and we stayed at the Novotel Roma La Rustica on October 16 – 17, 2015. We checked in around 8:45PM. The male front desk clerk(named Farbico I think) became upset about checking all of us in. He started yelling at us for making him work. I told him he should not be yelling at us and he told me to go away from the desk and threaten to call the police. He told me to go ahead and file a complaint and showed me his name tag. We got our room access cards after waiting for more 20 minutes. He kept looking at us as we walked away to the elevators. He was very rude and unprofessional. The bathtub in my room was clogged and I asked 3 times for repair. They never unclogged the drain and for 2 nights, we had to stand in 6 inches of dirty water in the tub when we showered. The room’s air conditioner was not cooling the room and we had to open the window. We asked for another room and they refused. There was not enough food at the breakfast buffet and the staff was very slow with replenishing the food. I wanted to print my boarding pass for my flight on the public computer and printer next to the bar but they were not working. I sent the hotel an email about the problems. They replied 5 days later and was given only a reference tracking number. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and it does not even deserve one star.
