Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for a lazy coffee. The weather was fantastic for mid February and we watched the Sun set behind the mountains, in the nearby area Il Molo is unrivalled in its situation, the view is simply fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They gave us plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view long after we finished our drinks. The bar itself is pretty cool. Floor to ceiling glass all round to make the most of the scenery and lots of clean lines, wooden bars and some choice decorations. I didn’t look too long at the menu. I was going on somewhere for dinner so didn’t want to tempt myself with the food but there were lots of people eating small snacks with their wine/beer and the odd panini — it all looked great and I was sorely tempted. I plucked for their signature il molo coffee. I normally take my coffee black but I was intrigued by the coffee, mint and cream combination. I wasn’t disappointed. Small, delicious, beautifully presented and bright green! Definitely somewhere to hang out on a summer evening.
