Tonight I had a fabulous Grigliata di pesce. The squid being the highlight of the plate, perfectly grilled-lightly. The mussels and clams in tomato sauce was outstanding! My next visit I will order the clams and mussels with spaghetti. My dinner mates were kind enough to share bites of dessert and they were all great: ice cream with white toffee coating, tender Apple tort, very good.

I love this place. The ambiance is really nice. The restaurant feels upscale yet casual. It was a very busy night when we went, due to the local holiday yet the service was fair. If you go and are given an Italian menu just ask for the English one if needed… They have it. I ordered the crab pasta it was very good! However, remember this is Italy so when they say crab, lobster, crawfish… Etc the shell is included. The hubby order capricciosa pizza and he thoroughly enjoyed it! Will be returning for sure.

Al Lido = the shore. So, while there are other offerings, this spot specializes in seafood. I’ve only had the tagliatelline all’arogosta, because I can’t imagine eating anything else. I suppose I should try something other than the 2-person-minimum lobster fettucini, but I think of the flavors, and… This is a larger, but busy restaurant filled with locals, so expect to need at least a little broken Italian and try to get there early(or expect to wait).
