When you need a break from all the delicious pasta of Italy this is the spot! There are loads of fresh ingredients to make your own salad. It is very affordable and the staff are super friendly. I don’t speak Italian but they were accommodating. I highly recommend!!!

Put the pasta and pizza down and go to L’Insalateria for lunch! They makes fresh salads for you, either off the menu or you can build your own. After a few days in Italy sometimes you just need a light lunch that’s packed with energy!
I had a couscous based salad with salmon, avocado, arugula, tomatoes and mushrooms that I built myself and it powered me through the day!
For my salad, a water and bread I paid 6 €, and best yet you can get your salad in a to go container if you’re in a hurry! The place itself it quite charming and casual, perfect lunch hangout and the staff of super friendly!
Lorenzo who works there is like a ray of sunshine and will brighten your day in Pisa. Get away from the heavy foods for at least one lunch in Italy and go here!
