We were about to fall apart with the hunger — and this place saved us. Food was good, not excellent, service was good, not excellent. Everything just seemed a little bit sloppy and not quite put together. We shared a margherita pizza and a sandwich. Pizza was actually quite good, and pretty good sized for the price. The bread on the sandwich was excellent, but the insides were a little bit lacking(wilty lettuce for example). Best part is that it is off the ‘beaten path’ of the Pisa crowd, yet there was a great view of the tower itself! So, not crowded, but still right next to all the main attractions. Make sure you order a bit of food to make it worthwhile, there is a fairly hefty service charge. Overall, just a bit sloppy, good, but I’m sure there are many better places.
