20 ans que je fréquente Parme et écume les ressources. Sans conteste l une des très bonnes tables qui restent traditionnelles et généreuses loin des touristes. Accueil chaleureux

No internet needed during your stay in Parma. At least you don’t need to check Unilocal or other guide sites to find good restaurant in Parma. You can put a blindfold on and point your finger in any direction and you will still get a very good meal. This place is being a solid proof of that. On our last night in Parma, we were out venturing for a place for dinner when my friend suddenly caught the red sign of this place. It looked dim and empty so I had my doubts, but the clock was just 8pm and as we all know the Italians like to eat a little bit late. We trusted my friend’s instinct and stepped inside. This place is an Osteria, which in Italy means a simple restaurant. It looks like somebody’s dining room(as a matter of fact, almost all restaurants in Parma and Bologna apart from La Greppia, looked like someone’s dining room), very simple and uniquely decorated but there was nothing simple about the food. We ordered culatello di zibello as our appetiser, and what an appetiser it was. We did have a fetish with culatello somewhat after tasting the batch from November 2012 in another restaurant and the taste was divine. Moving on to the main course, I ordered risotto with black truffles wrapped in prosciutto crudo while my friend ordered the beef tartare, also with black truffles. We both agreed that the taste of our food was out of this world. It’s almost unbelievable that place this simple could serve such an amazing food and to think that the locals could dine like this whenever they want. For drink we had the house Lambrusco, wine originating from the region and the bill came only up to 46 euro for two, 23 each — which would probably buy us our regular Chinese food back in Copenhagen. We love Parma, and there was nothing better to spend last night than eating at this place.
