Hey !!! De retour pour poster un avis sur un restaurant testé lors de notre(très) court séjour à Palermo! La déco vue de l’extérieure fait un peu restau chic(et donc dans non esprit forcément cher) mais pas de panique!!! La déco et le service sont vraiment chic mais avec des prix tout à fait abordables(une trattoria classée «prix moyens» dans le guide du routard). La cuisine est bonne, nous avons tout les deux opté pour un plat de pâtes et une spécialité Sicilienne en dessert: la Cassata… youmi!!! Bref pas d’arnaque aux touristes dans ce restau et avec la qualité de la cuisine c’est le plus important! Baci!!!

Shortly after we got off of the cruise ship in Palermo and after a complete tour on the CitySightseeing bus, one of the members of our party had to make a «pit stop» and this was the only restaurant that was kind enough to let us use the restroom. The restaurant wasn’t open yet, but they let us in anyway, it was about 10 minutes before they opened. Since we were already in the restaurant we decided to stay and eat. Let me start by saying that the staff was incredible. The third generation owner(Daniele) was there to take our order with another waiter that was incredibly helpful. The future owner(Daniele’s son) was eating McDonald’s in the corner; he was about 6 years old. The house wine was an amazing Nero D’Avola. We don’t know what label it was, but it was very good. I had the Marsala Filet, which was extraordinary and my wife had a pasta dish that was equally good. When we tried to order dessert, Daniel insisted he choose the dish. He brought us the most decadent chocolate cake I have had since we arrived in Europe. As we were about to leave, Daniel brought all of the adults at the table a dessert wine, which he said was typical of Sicily. It was some sort of blend of amaretto, Marsala, strawberry and some type of grape, which I could not place. It was amazing and reminded me of Tawny Port. Finally, as we were headed out the door, Daniele’s father Angleo arrived. He was as welcoming and gracious as Daniele. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. On a scale of 1 — 10 the service and the food rate a 10. Magnificent!
