Zairo

J’étais content qu’ils acceptent un groupe de 8 personnes à 15h, parce que sa ptite maman il faisait juste 40° dehors et on voulait juste se cacher du soleil !
Déco carrément sympa, ambiance restaurant dans une ancienne église, le personnel est bien, le service est bien, la nourriture est bien !
J’avais pas super faim donc j’ai pris le classique combo jambon cru/​melon et rien à redire. J’ai goûté la pizza de ma voisine et c’était plutôt bon aussi.
Donc une bonne adresse !

We visited Zairo for a quick lunch as we had thirty minutes before our tour bus was scheduled to leave
This was a shame as Zairo is a very attractively elegant restaurant where you would enjoy an extended stay. Service is trained the same — no rush here — enjoy your food — enjoy life.
We explained the situation to our waiter who adjusted accordingly. He remarkably explained which menu selections are prepared quickly and was right on.
A fresh pasta and peas dish — four minutes.
Margarita and Marinara Pizza — eight. minutes.
Right on with all three selections.
All three choices were fine and priced beyond reasonable.
We left wishing we had more time here to enjoy a nice glass of wine as well as the scenery.
With restaurants in this area few and far between Zairo appears to be the go to dining spot.

If you’re visiting Padua, don’t miss this place!

I had asked the receptionists of the hotel where to go out for dinner. For fish their recommendation was Zairo. On passing it at noon it was not very crowded. Nevertheless I dropped in and booked a table just for myself for 8 pm. That this decision was the right one I became aware when people started to wait at the outside at half past 8 since the restaurant was full.
As a starter (Antipasti) I chose sword fish (pesce spada) which was served as a carpaccio. Very delicious. After a tasty porcini soup I got a grilled gilthead with some fresh potatos. When the waiter asked for the dessert, I had to ask for a short break. Unfortunately, the break became quite long, since I did not manage to attract the attention of any waiter for many minutes.
