Sheraton Padova

Due to the interstate system, this hotel is a little hard to find, But very worth finding it.
The GPS took us in circles, however I saw signs posted that led us in.
We pulled up in front of the hotel and went in to check-​in, the process was very quick and easy as the front desk clerk found my reservation, checked me in and had the Bellman go to the car to get my luggage.
The gentleman checking us in was joined by the executive secretary of the hotel, they gave us maps and information of the surrounding area, things that visitors must see and options for transportation.
Our room was fantastic, larger than I expected in a European hotel, very clean and equipped with all the amenities.
We unpacked a few things from our bags and there was a knock at the door, the gentleman from room service said the front desk had sent us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco.
We were very excited to get out and explore Venice, however the chilled bottle of Prosecco was calling our name so we had a few glasses before going to the restaurant.
Our meal was one of the best we had in Italy and the service was impeccable, Five-​Star.
(They do offer Gluten Free Pasta and Bread)
The hotel van took us to the train station, the very kind lady and gentleman at the front desks information made it easy for us to catch the train to the water taxi and within the hour we were in very romantic city of Venice.
Our trip was a whirlwind, but we will never forget the hotel, their staff and Venice !

Location was very convenient since we were traveling from Florence to Venice. Room had everything just like a standard room in the U.S. Tried their bar when we arrived but somehow, there was no bartender or waiter, yet it was open… After waiting for a while, we got someone to come over and get us some drinks :) Some chips and snacks accompanied the drinks. There is a neat gift shop in the lobby area. Grabbed few things to bring back. But if you are going to Venice, the prices there will be better in Venice. There are several computers available in the lobby, although if there is a meeting etc at the hotel, you’ll have a hard time to find one open.
