A little place in Vomero near Piazza Arenella, all they have are fried appetizers(crocche, zeppoline), pizza, and panuozzo, a giant saltimbocca(sandwich made with pizza dough) with a variety of fillings. One thing I have not seen before is an antipasto called«Scugnizziella»(€ 3) — Scamorza cheese and speck baked in the oven, accompanied by baked pizza dough — HOOAH! I had one of my favorites, a simple Margherita pizza with salame(€ 6). It was one of the best salami pizzas I have ever had. Perfect crust, fresh mozzarella, and abundant local salame. YUM! My wife had the panuozzo(€ 7), more or less a pizza with mozzarella, ham, and mushrooms folded in half. It was excellent and she was so full we had to take half home. Water and a bootle of wine(Aglianico — € 7) topped off the meal for a whopping € 24 … MAMAMIA! CombatCritic Gives Sempre Pizza 9 Bombs Out Of 10!
