We came upon Pizzaioli Veraci while strolling up the Via Toledo. We had O’Panzarrotti(light & fresh tasting potato croquettes) and beautiful Buffalo Mozzarella as anti pasti, and Pasta Patate E Provola (pasta with potato, cheese, & bacon pieces) and Spaghetti Al Piennoli(Spaghetti Pomodoro Plus!) for our main course. The pasta is perfectly al dente with delicious flavour and so light on the palate. The staff are very friendly and have an excellent understanding of spoken English. I only give 4 stars because we were charged a 3.60 E cover charge that we didn’t see outside of the restaurant nor on the menu, so if you go just tell them that you don’t want to pay a cover charge. We plan to do just this tomorrow night. I’ve since learned that the ‘coperto’ or ‘cover charge’ is for bread, oil, cleaning, etc…, none of which pertained to our bill/check. The similar restaurants where we dined the other two nights in Napoli did not charge any extras. Still, the dining experience was very, very good!
