Myself and my girlfriend were staying in hotel ideal and we decided to come down to the closest bar which was ettore for drinks. While it seemed nice and was extremely close by we found that in order to have only drinks they would stick us beside the ATM and a man selling hats on the outskirts of the restaurant. Literally on our own. The rest of the tables were reserved for people who wished to buy food apparently. Do not attend this place if you want only drinks as they will stick you in a dirty corner. Pictures will show the truth of my words… As we were served our drinks we also got the bill… Felt completely unwelcome and the cheap wine we were served did not make up for the terrible everything else.

Un restaurante con el que nos sentimos bastante a gusto en Nápoles. Cerca de nuestro hotel y de la estación de tren de Napoli, todo lo que comimos estaba buenísimo.
Destaco la especialidad de la casa, la pasta alla «Ettore» (con mejillones, gambas y almejas) que estaba para chuparse los dedos… y esa pasta al dente… mmm… El pescado también muy bueno (comimos como pescado del dia una lubina riquísima) y los postres correctos.
Los camareros bastante amables (algunos quizás un poco «empanados») pero en general, tanto dentro como en la terraza, un gran acierto.
Tienen wifi gratis, lo que es un plus.
Advertencia: si queréis agua mineral, especificad que la queréis SIN gas, porque en Napoli en general, si no lo especificas, la traen con gas (será ese el motivo por el que la mayoría apenas sudan con el calorazo que hace?)
Un sitio para repetir en una zona más bien cutrecilla (aunque el metro de Garibaldi se salva, están en obras en la piazza Garibaldi)

For sure is not the most elegant place of the city and far from being on «Rick Steven’s guide» nevertheless it offer good quality in a reasonable price. I deserve 5 stars because IMHO it recalls a sincere and «old fashion «Napoli. It’s strenght is in kindness and it seems like to be in your grandma kitchen hall. Loveble atmosphere and plates prepared like it was common to do in the past. If you are looking 4 «nouvelle cousin» get away, but if you wish to have the sensation to be invited to a traditional southern italian home, you are welcome here.
