As we walked with our heavy backpacker bags from the train station through Naples, we were very upset to see that Da Michele(original place for pizza) was closed for renovation. However, we did stumble into a loud Italian man with a whistle calling out, «Signore, Prego, Buono Pizza!» We decided to sit down and weren’t disappointed with what we found. I ordered their signature pizza that came out like a bow tie and a traditional pie with ham & mozzarella. Very delicious and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to relax, drink a cold birra Peroni, & eat a pizza.

Excellent classic margherita pizza cooked perfectly. If you don’t want to wait in the long line at L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele D’Angeli this place has excellent food and service.

I was seated fast I ordered and it came quickly like i wanted as it was getting late. Pizza looked and tasted like an Italian trying to make an American pizza and as you would expected was all round bad, massive bubbles and Salami was chewy with hard lumps and the dough tasted bad, on a positive note cheese was good. I asked for the bill he brought it and i tried to give him the money and he just seemed to not notice although he was looking right at it, ended up getting another waiter to come over to take it. Lol. Really disappointed this is the only bad pizza I have ever had in Italy, and possibly the worst pizza I have ever had anywhere. Plus i was charged for service(Coperto) All in all avoid like the plague !!! Ps– place across the roads suppose to be great, going to try well I’m here and ill add a review.
