The serving was small. The price was expensive. You pay for table charge, service charge, and the waiter will tell you it doesn’t include the tip yet.

Food was fair but the sever brought us the bill and said the gratuity was not included in the bill. Not true, servitude was added already. They know Americans are used to tipping so they tried to get more.

After walking around we were ready to relax with a drink. We asked the guy on the sidewalk if it was OK if we sat at a table to have drinks only, he said OK. Then I asked if they could make a screwdriver(vodka and orange juice), again he said Yes. So we took a table and waited for someone to take our order. There were three servers standing together near our table and two more playing cards. We thought maybe it was self serve. As I started to get up, finally a waiter came over. At first he said no vodka only whiskey(they also have no sangria) but then changed his mind and said yes yes they do have vodka. So we ordered. The order was taking so long that I had time to read some of the reviews about all their up charges. After making certain our order was not on its way, we went ahead and left to avoid any misunderstandings about vodka vs whiskey, service charges, up charges etc. I feel like we dodged a potentially expensive bullet.

My risotto was so salty it was inedible and my fish was overcooked and dry. To top off my bad experience the waiter insisted that I needed to give him personally a service fee that the 15% service in my bill was only«for the restaurant and not the waiter». He would not leave until I gave him some euros. I know this is cods wallop but just wanted to leave so I gave him € 2 which he scoffed at. Avoid if you can. There are many other restaurants on this strip by the sea.

Perfect location to sit outside and watch the Bay of Naples and everyone coming and going all the waterfront. Good pizza though a bit rich and heavy.(I wanted to blot my pizza with my napkin but restrained myself.) Complimentary champagne at the start of the meal and complimentary meloncello at the end were delicious touches. Friendly, attentive service.

We stayed in Napoli for four nights. The location of this restaurant was very convenient to the location of our hotel. We ended up eating here two evenings. The wait staff especially Gian Paola was exceptional. Even with a slight communication problem he delivered exceptional service. The pizza was delicious and the calzone was great. The view of the sea was nice too.

I was staying at a nearby hotel for one night(out of five total in Naples) and needed to find a place to eat nearby. My husband and I arrived fairly early as we had an early flight the next morning. As such, we got a seat outside and got to enjoy the spectacular view of the Bay of Naples and the gorgeous weather. We were treated to a complimentary glass of prosecco at the beginning of our meal. A very nice touch! I kept wondering if it was actually free or not, and was pleasantly surprised that it was. For our meal we ordered a pizza marinara, a big salad, and, for some inexplicable reason, a side of fries. I’m used to Euro salads being a lot smaller than N American salads, but this one was huge. Definitely meal sized. My husband enjoyed the pizza, too. Prices were much more reasonable than I expected for a restaurant in a touristy area with such a great view. The service was pretty good, but when it came time for us to get the bill we had to wait for quite a while and had trouble flagging somebody down. Normally I wouldn’t even mention it, but the fact that we had to get ready for the airport and get up early the next morning made us want to leave sooner.

So while staying in Naples, we asked the hotel for some nearby dinner recommendations and this place was at the top of the list. Upon arrival, we were pleased to see what a stunning location it was — right across from the bay of Naples with a gorgeous view of the bay. Really you can’t beat it. :-) Our server was very kind and I have to say, in general, the service was very friendly and attentive. However, out food was kinda hit or miss — my friend got the salad which she thought tasted just okay but she thinks might’ve made her sick later that night(not entirely sure so don’t want to ding them on that alone), we got the pizza which was good but nothing super special and I got the fish which although it tasted very good came complete with tons of bones(not fun). The best thing we had was the lemoncello at the end(loved it!) and the lemon cake for dessert — this was seriously the BEST lemon cake we had in Naples. They had a wonderful wine selection too. Seriously I’d skip dinner and just come here for wine, lemon cake and the sunset. ;-)

We had fried seafood, which was very good, and also good seafood pizza. Unfortunately, their English is poor, so the courses including salad came out in the wrong order, so we really could not enjoy ourselves as we would have hoped.

Greet me with a Prosecco, serve me up some delicious fresh seafood on the water with a breeze and my heart is yours. Points lost for charging me 8 euros for veggie side when my Squid and shrimp dish was 12.

This restaurant is by far one of the most popular in the waterfront area of Napoli. The service is quiet impressive. While you are waiting in line the owner even comes out with some free liquor. The chicken, potato dumpling and eggplant dishes are worth trying as the sauces are delicious. The portion sizes are definitely generous so you won’t leave feeling hungry. Also, it was recommended to me by locales and seemed to be more of locale hot spot than a tourist trap.
