This is one of my favorite places in Monza. Riccardo, young sommelier with beard manages the little Enoteca set by the Lambro River in the historical centre of Monza. You can choose between salads and cold plates accompanied by great wines recommended by Riccardo. For example carpaccio from sword fish and tuna combined with a Gewürztraminer from South Tirol. The bread is baked by the famous local bakery Crivelli. My favorite plate includes salami from Bergamo, with raw ham and Zola Cheese(the young Gorgonzola Cheese). Prices are ok, if you choose from the standard menu including 1 glass of wine wont cost you more than 10 euros. Keep patience with the waiters, at lunch time the place gets crowded by teens from the rich Monza families and people working at the court nearby.
