A great place to taste a wide variety of good drinks. We stopped for a late nightcap and tried a few grappas. Eliseo(owner) recommended one that was the best grappa we had on our whole trip. Also tried 2 others that were good and a Forst beer on tap. The best thing about this place is how friendly and welcoming Eliseo and his wife Mary are. They make you feel like family while you relax with a good beverage to soak in the charming Monterosso street

We loved this place and went 2 nights in a row while in Monterosso. The service and drinks were incredible. I hope to return some day it has a special place in my heart!

Really glad we stopped here for a drink. We were visiting all the villages on a tour for the day and we had just under an hour before moving on. I had the Sangria then the local Limoncino which was very good. They were playing Pavaroti and other similar music in the background which made it even nicer. The best thing was that their WC was immaculate. Our tour guide had been telling us all day that the WCs wouldn’t be good, so when I used there’s it was such a pleasant surprise.

Decent wine bar – not a good place to stop with kids as there is not adequate food options – I had become accustomed to Enotecas that have family style seating and snacks and thought this would be the same. This is my personal opinion and no way reflective on this Enoteca. Just making sure other travelers are aware. It was an ok place for wine.

Excellent selection and kind people. Busy night in June when we went, but hit it before dinner, a wise choice. They have a wide array of wines from $ 20 and up of excellent Italian vintage. A must stop for anyone visiting the Cinque Terre and Monterosso al Mare.

Refreshing beer after a long hike from Vernazza to Monterosso. Can people watch from ample outdoor picnic sized tables. Pickles caper berry fruit, peanuts and olives are provided to round out your aperitivo.

Amazing! Highly recommend stopping here for a pre dinner drink. Wide selection of wines, cocktails, local specialities, even a few local craft beers. Complimentary olives and capers are the icing on the cake. Mary and her husband are extremely friendly and accommodating!

This is by far my favorite place to have aperitivo! It’s lovely to sit outside and Mary makes the most amazing caipirinhas! I’m looking forward to my next one. :)

Great little wine bar on a nice corner. This is a great spot to hang out at before or after dinner. They make great drink and wine recommendations.

Although I very much liked the interior of this place I just had to sit outside and enjoy the warmest March day I think I have ever experienced! They offered a couple of beers from the Forst brewery(which sounds German but is not). I had the Doppel Bock which the bartender described as his favourite Italian beer. He also said it was a pale ale. Pale ale it wasn’t but it was both interesting and tasty! Freebie snacks were brought out, as is often the case in Italy. Olives, nuts and something like ‘frollo del cappero’ which were these white bean… things. They were serenading us with the best of the late Signore Pavarotti. I manged to hold my tears in during Nessun Dorma!

We stayed in the Cinque Terre three nights and came to Eliseo’s each night before dinner — loved the little snacks(peanuts, caper berries and olives) that came with each round of drinks. There was enough of a variety of drinks for us, including the spritz(or aperativo) that’s the latest rage in Italy right now. The service was great and we just found it to be a nice setting, even with the indoor tables, and great service. We didn’t find another enoteca in Italy that made us feel as welcome as this one.

60 kinds of grappa. A very dangerous place but if you want to know about local wines or grappa in general, this is the place. Located in the central square of the old part of Monerossa al Mare, plain to visit in the early evening for wine and then as your evening ends for grappa. We went every night we were in town.

A great spot for drinks and a great business model. They are hospitable and generous. My husband was eyeing an 20 year old grappa and the bartender let him try a sip. We thought that was incredibly sweet given that the bottle was 135 euro. It was crowded every time we passed by.

During our stay in Monterosso al Mare my girlfriend and I visited Enotaca Da Eliseo every day – sometimes twice in one day. It was our home away from home in this lovely seaside paradise. Each afternoon we stopped by to relax with a few glasses of wine before dinner – and sometimes for a nightcap after dinner. The proprietor is so friendly and helpful. She always had wonderful wine recommendations for us and gave us great service. We bought a couple bottles of phenomenal limoncino to bring home with us(try the local«antica» limoncino – it’s a bit more expensive but so smooth and not cloying and syrupy like others). Definitely stop by when you’re in town.
