We stayed for two nights in this little hotel, and we very pleased with our stay. Located only a short walk from the Monterosso train station on the main street, Via Roma, we found the accommodation basic, but impeccably clean. What really made our stay was Andrea, the extremely friendly and helpful owner. He really went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and to recommend several restaurants for us to try — all of which were excellent and very good value.
Though the walls were a bit thin (we could hear nearly everything in the halls), for the price we paid, it was a great find. I’d gladly stay here again.

A good budget hotel in Monterosso al Mare. If you’re looking for something cheap and basic, then this is it.
The guy who runs the place is incredibly unorganized and his dog is a bit scary, but the location is decent and the rooms are satisfactory.
You get a tasty room rate but you sacrifice customer service. Whatever, I’ll take it.
