We stayed at Hotel Croce di Malta so that we would be at the midpoint of Florence and Pisa, since we had just finished visiting Florence. The hotel was very well-​maintained and clean, although not too modern looking. The rooms looked like they had been decorated to look like a grandmother’s house. But, they were comfortable. One thing I found strange was that the shower had no shower curtain to it. So, that means flooding the entire bathroom when taking a shower. The breakfast was decent, but nothing to write about. Hotel staff not too friendly/​helpful. One thing I do think they should change is their keys. They are so heavy and big. Couln’t even fit it in my pocket.
