This restaurant has seen its glory days. The food is from the 80s. Large portions and old tastes. We had a degustation menu where we tried all appertizers. All were hmmm. Ok… Didnt taste bad but its far from good or nice.
We then had the raviolis and they where. Hmm. Ok aswell. We had some white truffle on it but i would actually preferred parmigiano instead.
The wine menu is excellent, we had a ’97 Langhe wine which was very good. The price is unknown since the waiter only askef how much we were willing to pay for wine. Both good and bad.
They say that they are fully booked for two months but still late in the eveninh there are plenty if empty tables.
Take another restaurant.

A must do when in Monforte d’Alba. Fabulous food, excellent wine list with an impressive wine cellar. Dine in the beautiful dining rooms or outside under the grape arbor. Nino, the owner/​chef, along with his wife, Silvia are wonderful hosts. It will be a meal you will never forget.
