I didn’t see the rooms, so I can’t review the hotel, but I can review the restaurant. My parents live nearby & come often. The service is friendly & welcoming. It is a family run business & it shows. The owners show an interest in their customers & cultivate loyalty in them. They knew we were coming, so they kept the kitchen open a little later than they otherwise would have, just to accommodate us. We didn’t look at a menu, the owner’s son just came over to talk to us & tell us what was good that day. We started with a seafood antipasto, which was fantastic! Nice presentation; delicious flavors; incredibly fresh. Wonderful. Our main course was a locally popular fish, Rombo. Nicely prepared & served with some of the best roasted potatoes I’ve had in a while! Also incredibly fresh. As it turns out, Rombo isn’t my favorite in the fish category, but it was still good. And for dessert, a slice of cake made on the premises. Very good, and not overly sweet. My first experience at one of my parents’ favorite spots was a great one! Oh, and I should add that the house white wine & prosecco were both really good! Love being in wine-making regions!
