The second branch of Wang Jiao near Bocconi. It has good quality Chinese food with reasonable prices. I had spaghetti riso con manzo which is basically rice noodles with beef. It was a huge plate and seemed to be a good proportion. But honestly I was a bit disappointed with the little amount of meat and vegetables in my food. Other than this, I liked the taste of my food and their service. They don’t have a cover charge which is nice.

My mom and I were craving some Chinese food in Milan, so I came across the highly rated Wang Jiao restaurants and noticed a location close to where we were staying. Though I was worried by the lack of reviews for this specific location, I had no reason to be — the place was bustling when we walked in around 9:00 and we were lucky to get a table on the spot. Service was excellent — the waiters are very friendly and the food comes fast. We ordered ma po dou fu(mapo tofu), xiang la xia(slightly spicy shrimp), and kong xing cai — all of which were extremely fresh, delicious, and CHEAP. For two bowls of rice, three dishes, and a bottle of water our bill came to a meager $ 23! We stuffed ourselves and then took some home too. I was so hungry I ate before I took a picture of the food(whoops) but it was beautiful. The food was probably better than many of the Chinese restaurants around where I come from in America. At the end they serve you free fresh fruit or limoncello — definitely a nice touch. If we ever go back to Milan we will definitely eat again here!
