Superb quality! Everything taste amazing and even when the place is crowded the staff is still cool kind and keep up with the service. All pastries have a high quality and taste amazing. The panettone is to die for!!! All their shops have the same quality standards.

Passez votre chemin…

We’ve eaten here almost every day we’ve been in Milan. Less than a hundred feet from the Moscova stop on the green line, it’s easy to spot since it’s always crowded. Cappuccino and pizza are the go-to options and everything is fresh. You won’t want to stop eating. And the prices won’t leave you penniless!!!

This bakery caffe is such a wonderful place for lunch, dessert or snacks. The prices are very reasonable and you can tell people like this place because it is busy(!). I had a fresh pressed juice of veggies and fruit(5 euros) and a plate of hot sautéed chicken with peppers, peas and potatoes. It was the most delicious thing I have eaten in Milan so far! The focaccia bread is very good and the selection of choices(panini, beverages, pastries) is tremendous. They use biologico flour which is organic(maybe?). There are 5 Princi’s in Milano and I would gladly eat in all of them!

Princi, Princi, Princi. You either hate it or love it. To Italians it is overpriced and at times arrogant in its treatment of customers. To foreigners it is a carbohydrate heaven(side note: DONOTCOMEHEREIFYOUAREONTHEATKINSDIET) that’s worth the splurge, with the downside that is is permanently full. To me, it is a chain(yes, there are 4, count them, FOUR, Princis in Milan) that is dedicated to ultra-high-quality baked products and worth every penny. They use organic wholemeal flour imported from France and take their sweet ass time baking yummy goodies 24⁄7. I know this because I had the privilege of speaking to their PR person, who was kind enough to explain their philosophy. While the place is permanently full, that’s because the Milanese recognize the quality. Have some patience, stand in line, throw some elbows if necessary(«BOXOUT», as your basketball coach would say), but don’t give up. This place caters to many different types of customers. Laborers come in during the morning for espresso and a brioche; tourists and shoppers re-fuel throughout the day with quick bites and no-fuss-lunches; and the city’s business crowd drops in during the afternoon for an aperitivo or a break before heading off home. Restaurant chefs as well as the city’s elderly population come in at random times determined to get their hands on a much-beloved loaf of Princi bread, while families and youngsters visit during the weekend as part of the ‘brunch’ crowd.
