Un repas exceptionnel, des plats raffinés, un accueil très agréable. Pour les touristes français attention, certains plats ont des coûts cachés renseignez-​vous bien. Le cadre intérieur est très sympathique. Le personnel est plein de petite attention.

Excellent customer service, though i dined at noon over the winter holidays when many businesses are dead, so it wasn’t super full. Customer service highlights include a complimentary glass of prosecco and a D-​Licious tasting appetizer (prosciutto over a perhaps-​mild-​cheese-​filled puff ball). I ordered caprese salad, a single fried scallop, and a house red wine. Nothing special in the flavors of what i ordered, though i found the scallop to be creative in presentation and preparation style. € 20 – 25 not including my american tipping habit. Great happy hour. Nice restaurant with mix of locals and tourists. The veal cutlet was huge and perfectly cooked. Risotto Milanese was good but reminded me of Mahatma rice packets. A little pricier and better presentation than your average tourist restaurant.

The sole reason I ate here was that I was in a rush with my train leaving in 45 mins and super hungry and this was the closest thing. Going against my better judgement, the tourist menus outside in both english and italian, I proceeded inside.
The staff were alright, not the friendliest. Prices were a little high and the food was alright. A 3 star in my book and a little surprising given all my filters were against. However and why the loss of one star, is the 3 euros service charge they slap on your bill. Highway robbery! Fighting the urge to give one star.
Heads up before going in here. There is a ridiculous 3 euro service charge! And the service isn’t even that good

This past May we stumbled on this place as we were looking for the piece of the Roman gate (i.e., porta) that was still standing… Man, what a place! The atmosphere and setting was spectacular — we ate outside overlooking a portion of the gate. The food was excellent and the service was exception. There was one young man — I hate that I didn’t catch his name — that showed us the various levels and literally got to see the very bottom of the gate to the very top of the ruins. I have nothing but praise for this place!!!

We came here for lunch and it was a disappointment.
While the food is average, the rude service and the unreasonably high price spoil everything
We were served by three different waiters (which is already kind of irritating), and all of them looked almost annoyed when we asked for a list of available beers.
We also asked whether they had different salads other than the few ones on the menu, and the waiter cut us short saying they had «normal ones», without further explanation.
Not exactly the kind of service you would expect when paying 56 euros (!) for a caesar salad, a tartare and two beers.
Stay away.

Le chat de Sarah m’incite à finir cette critique qui est restée de l’année dernière, vers mai 2013. Ce restaurant étant vers le Dôme, je m’attendais au pire, mais on a été très agréablement surpris!
Déjà le cadre est agréable: un peu précieux, mais agréable. Le service était excellent: l’un des serveurs parle français et c’est un blagueur! Cool pour les pauvres touristes que nous sommes! Le vin n’a rien de renversant, mais se laisse boire. Mais surtout, l’assiette…
Il y a un menu simple pas cher de pizzas qu’on a complètement boudé, et un menu plus cher, avec 3 cartes différentes: cuisine traditionnelle, moderne, et inventive. Mon choix se porte pour la carte inventive avec un délice de crevettes et sa sauce vinaigrette et gingembre en entrée, et un risotto à la menthe et mangue avec langoustine. Tout est bon, nouveau, frais.
Mon avis est peu objectif car floué par les bons souvenirs de cette soirée, mais malgré les prix élevés, je recommande si vous êtes dans le coin et pas le temps d’aller dans une adresse plus typique.

Nice atmosphere for drinks. The food put out for happy hour is quite good, but we didnt have a full meal here. The drinks are a bit on the pricy side too.

The lamb with pistacchio was a disappointment and the pizza diavolo is average. Too expensive for what is offered.
