A delightful late night find in Milan. Starving and cold, we were grateful to find a restaurant still open at 9PM. It had been a long day and our cranky family needed a place to eat. This restaurant was a little difficult to find since the address that pulls up on Unilocal is impossible with Google maps, for some reason. But once the stress of finding the restaurant is over, the server took us to our table upstairs, where it was packed. We were the last empty table. Some patrons were smoking, which made it very uncomfortable in such close vicinity, but once we opened the windows, the air cleared up dramatically. We ordered some traditional Chinese dishes that really hit the spot after 24 hours of airplane and airport food: Fried Noodles with Shrimps(aka Shrimp Lo Mein) 5 € Stir Fried Shanghai Cabbage with Mushrooms 6 € Stir Fried Water Spinach 5 € Chicken in Rich Sauce 7 € Steamed Fish — Market Price(can’t recall the price exactly, but it was under 10 €, I believe) Seeing the low prices, there was no way we would get full off of these dishes, so we held onto a menu for safekeeping. Food came out fairly quickly. We devoured it all but I was surprisingly very full and satisfied. Every dish we had was authentic and tasty and I wish we had ordered more dishes to try! The prices were so low, I don’t know why we ordered just enough food instead of over-ordering! Note that a bowl of white rice costs extra. Complimentary fruit is provided at the end. The honeydew, cantaloupe and oranges were all cut beautifully, and with the exception of the sour oranges, were sweet and juicy. The lady working the register, who I believe also runs the place, remembered my sister who had come before a couple months prior. What a memory! We were disappointed to not be able to stop here again on our way back in from an international flight transfer, but this is truly a gem that is irreplaceable in Milan.

Horrible. Karaōke in the next room was loud and awful. It made me want to commit suicide. They didn’t bring the drinks before the meal and forgot to bring them with the food. We had to ask. Then they brought the entrees at completely different times. Waitresses acted like prison camp guards. Highly unrecommended. Ciao.
