The service is slow so let that be said upfront… However, my food was AMAZING! My friends and I shared the spaghetti alla carbonara and a prosciutto pizza. Both were stellar. The spaghetti dish blew me away with the complexity of the flavors. There were several pieces of pancetta in it but the whole dish had that smokey flavor. If you are in Milan, I highly recommend this place.

From outside the Grani & Braci looks like a fun, young restaurant. But once caught in the trap, you will see that it is more of a luxurious McDonalds.
The décor is young & modern, but rather on the cheap side.
The waiters are as young and modern as the palce itself, but with little brains and a lousy service mentality. They could have sold us so much more but they did not want to.
The food and the selection is really good. A gigantic plate for 3 people (see picture — however only 2 were not hungry anymore afterwards), homemade pizza and pasta, and ingenious desserts. The food alone would be worth 3 stars for sure sure.
Minus one star for the bad service, waiters and uncoordinated fast-​food-​ambience inside.
Conclusion: If everything else is closed and you wanna go for a pizza: ok.
