This was by far my favourite pavilion out of the 5 I visited at the Expo. Mainly because, aside the Pavilion 0, I thought it was the one that best captured the purpose of the Expo 2015. From outside it didn’t look as impressive as the other structures maybe, however I was totally surprised when I got in. The interior was really cool, a lot of details, a lot of interactive elements, music, videos and info about this Country I barely knew of before but I now want to visit. There really was a lot of information about Angolan agriculture, fishing, farming, their typical products and a really cool section about Angolan women which I found very inspiring and interesting. There was also a fun section on the top floor with videos showing how to cook some of their local dishes which, I have to say, look delicious. Didn’t get to eat at the restaurant unfortunately but heard it was pretty good. Would recommend this to any person visiting the Expo.

What a nice pavilion! It’s very big but well organized so your route through it will help you learn more about this little-known(at least to me) country, its produce, traditions, landscapes, cuisine and good practices. It is structured in 3 floors with ramps, starting from the ground floor where you can read more about the country, the animals and the ecosystem, there’s a huge ‘baobab tree’ made out of screens and tubes where you can see pictures of Angolan women, because they say women have a key role in their society and are as resistant and strong as a baobab tree(nice comparison). Then on the following floors you go through the culinary specialties of the different regions, an area where children can interact — not as many pavilions as I thought have children-dedicated areas, but this one is very nice. Then you get to the top where there’s a rooftop garden and the restaurant. I was actually expecting more typical Angolan food, but this restaurant has a kind of fusion Angolan-Italian cuisine, I was expecting something more«exotic» since I was reading about very interesting dishes in the exhibition in the lower floors. On your way out, pass by the bar in the back of the ground floor, they have like 3 Angolan dishes that change every day and a nice stage where there should be some performances. It helped me know more about this country, now I want to visit!
